MT4 Listening score for Ligeti

Is a score helpful for electroacoustic music if it does not need one for its realisation. Here’s an example from Ligeti which might stimulate some debate. The piece, Artikulation, was realised at WDR studios in 1958. A graphic listening score was created in the 1970s by Rainer Wehinger. A kind soul (the uploader of this youtube video) has synchronised the music to the score. Enjoy!

MT2/CTDCP2 Logic Pro 9 released

Logic Pro 9 (sorry, I know I should probably say something like Logic Studio 9 incorporating the son of Emagic Logic Audio or something) seems to feature some very worthwhile upgrades, particularly with regard to audio editing and ‘warping’. Also a nice feature similar to Ableton Live whereby audio segments can easily become a sampler instrument. Updates to other programmes in the suite too.
